Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Saint Peters, Missouri.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed.
• Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Telemetry (2 years of experience).
• Telemetry experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Experience working with Stroke patients.
• Experience working with Post Cardiac Cath patients.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred

• Familiar with post cath care.

Unit / Patient Population

• Adults and geriatrics.
• Typical patient mix includes total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic, medical covid, and oral surgery.
• Average daily census: 16.
• Ratio: 1:4-6, with stretch assignments to 5 patients on occasion.

• Short Term Acute Care hospital.
• 110 staffed beds.
• Navy scrubs.
• Free parking in parking lot.
