Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:4–5
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-timers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Pending license accepted
• No on-call
• No block schedule
• Locals not accepted
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• RTO limit: no more than 7 days
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• IV Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Neurosurgery experience
• Stepdown experience

Preferred Qualifications

• General Med Surg experience
• Level I/Teaching experience

Unit / Clinical Details

• Float scope: neurosurgery or SDU
• Patient population includes neurology, neurosurgery, and stroke patients
• Unit details include pre- and post-operative spine surgeries and craniotomies
• Admissions from home, clinic, and ED
• Transfers from step-down unit and ICU
• Off-site telemetry monitoring with telemetry techs
• Special equipment: bladder ultrasound
• Teaching / Level Trauma setting
• Short Term Acute Care facility
• 1266 staffed beds
• EPIC charting
