Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Fullerton, California
• 16-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• EFM or AWHONN
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Unit Expectations

• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be open to weekends; may exceed every other weekend based on unit need
• Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• May float to mother baby
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion

Compliance and Onboarding

• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Fit mask required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
• Respirator clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination may be required depending on submission timing
• References required
