Job info

Provides hands-on, face-to-face laboratory instruction for an 18-month program.
Teaches and supervises small-group lab sessions in Introduction to Patient Care and Introduction to Radiography.
Demonstrates and evaluates psychomotor and applied skills in a supervised lab environment.

Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
ARRT (R)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Faculty (1 year of experience)
Faculty experience within the last year
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
Familiarity with JRCERT Standards applicable to laboratory instruction, including the 1:1 student-to-equipment ratio and direct-supervision expectations
Skill in demonstrating psychomotor techniques and in evaluating students' skill acquisition with objective, documented criteria

Radiographic positioning, equipment operation, image production, and patient-care skills.
Radiation-safety and patient-safety principles, including ALARA, shielding, collimation, infection control, and safe patient handling.
Familiarity with JRCERT laboratory instruction standards.
Ability to demonstrate psychomotor techniques and evaluate student skill acquisition.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for small-group instruction and feedback.
Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and equitable lab environment.
Proficiency with standard office software and learning-management/clinical-tracking platforms.

Onsite role at Mission Center Building.
Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday in the evening, with additional daytime sessions on Monday and Wednesday.
Full-time hours are available if preferred.
