Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, 4x10 hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Electrophysiology Lab (3 years of experience)
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Radiation badge required
  • Ability to perform:
    • Activated clotting time (ACT)
    • Cardioversion
    • Circulating procedures
    • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
    • Monitoring procedural sedation
    • Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
  • Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval
  • Hospital-issued scrubs are used in the EP lab
  • Epic is used for charting
  • Parking is available at no fee
  • Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, if needed
