Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- 16-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Based in BMT (14 & 15W James), an Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Inpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Feeding tube care and management
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- PICC line management
- Central line sterile dressing changes
- Chemotherapy administration
Unit Details
- Patient population includes ALL, AML, amyloidosis, aplastic anemia, chronic leukemias, Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disorders, and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
- Special procedures include autologous transplants, syngeneic transplants, allogeneic transplants, and CAR-T therapy
