Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Melbourne, Florida
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Ratios: 1:5
• Guaranteed hours: contracted hours guaranteed
• First-timers not accepted
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Florida
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Float

• Every other weekend required, or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, depending on unit needs
• On-call not required
• Float required to other units or locations within Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Additional Requirements

• 2 references from authority figures within the last year
• Flu vaccine required from 10/31 to 3/31, with medical or religious exemptions only
