Overview

Location: Springfield, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract, 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP, 4 weeks from offer. Orientation is held bi-weekly on Mondays: 10/26, 11/9, and 11/23.
Shift: Evenings, 3x12 hours (15:00 to 03:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Ratio: 1:4
Facility: Short-term acute care, nonprofit Level II Trauma Center, 385 staffed beds
Scrub Color: Any color
Parking: Free
Top Diagnoses/Procedures: Trauma, CP, STEMI, abdominal pain, COPD exacerbation, UTI, stroke, sepsis, orthopedic injury

Required Qualifications

Valid Oregon RN license
Minimum 1 year of ED (Emergency Department) experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 2 trauma patients
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS
Experience with Epic
