Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Lawrence, Massachusetts
13-week contract
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Home health role with home visits and periodic office meetings
Average patient load: 5–8 patients per day
Territory includes North Shore communities and travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience, depending on the specialty
Recent specialty experience required
Must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance
Must have license in hand
CPR BLS
Current BLS required
Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and have used it within the last 6 months

Weekend requirement varies by location and profession
On-call requirement varies by location and profession
Some positions in the western territory may use a Baylor shift schedule: 4x10s Friday–Monday
Most positions use standard 5x8s Monday–Friday

Role Details

Provides and directs home nursing care according to physician orders and agency policies/procedures
Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses
Typical cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits
Productivity expectation: 32 weekly units
Weekly travel: 50–200 miles
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

OASIS proficiency is required for RNs, PTs, and OTs
