Job Description

• Position on a busy cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor.
• Must have AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.
• Tennessee license or compact required.
• Floating may be required to other MS/Tele units or ICU (low acuity).
• 1 year of experience required; travel experience preferred. Locals accepted at the same rate.
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required. If Epic experience is outside of this period, 10 additional hours of unbillable orientation will be added to the contract for Epic training.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Epic Test Out - Required for all candidates (excluding certain positions).

Health Documents

• Physical Exam - Attesting to the ability to meet physical demands of the position.
• N95 Fit Test - Required within a year of start; must be updated annually.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - Required within 1 year of start.
• Drug Testing - Negative 10 panel required within 30 days of start.
• Flu Vaccine - Required during flu season (specific dates apply).
• COVID-19 Vaccination - Required prior to start, with options for declination or exemptions.

Background Check

• Comprehensive background check required within 30 days of start, including all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references.
• Complete application/resume required for all candidates.
• Skills checklist specific to the applicable specialty.

• Candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID during service hours.
