Registered Nurse (RN) — Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location

• Grinnell, Iowa

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Days

Setting

• ICU: 5 beds, plus 3 stepdown beds
• May float between ICU, stepdown, and Med Surg units
• Med Surg unit: 23 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Travel experience within the previous 24 months
• Experience with Epic
• Med Surg experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC
• Driver's License

Preferred

• NIHSS certificate
• Professional reference/reference check from within the last 24 months

Additional Details

• Must be comfortable caring for 2–5 patients
• Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Orientation is 16 hours
