Job Opportunity: Temp Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: Night shift, 36-40 hours per week with billable overtime after 40 hours.
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5 in Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Orientation dates available throughout the year.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience.
• License: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA or ARC.
• Other:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline.
  • Work history/resume must document 24 months of current Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
  • Professional references preferred (from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or equivalent within last 24 months).

• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required).
• Night shift with holiday and overtime differentials.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
