Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Temp
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to a Cardiologist. Maintain equipment and communicate regularly with dispatch, management, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform portable X-Ray exams ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results for interpretation.
- Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
- Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment in good working order.
- Communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, and clients.
Physical Demands
- Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily, sometimes more depending on facility conditions.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Valid Driver’s License.
