Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3 x 12 hour night shifts
- Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT license mandatory)
- Preferred Experience: EPIC and Hamilton ventilator experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity proof
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Physician health statement within 1 year of start date
- Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within required timeframes
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor-level
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
- Education verification through background check company
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check
- Name change documentation if applicable
Additional Notes
- No onsite fit testing; must be completed prior to start
- Strongly preferred (but optional): Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
- Positive TB test requires negative chest x-ray documentation
- Compliance with all credential submission and onboarding requirements is mandatory
