Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Summary

Seeking an RN with specialty in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care for a 13-week assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Neurology nursing experience

Onboarding Requirements

• License/certification verification with machine-generated date within 30 days of start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Trinity-specific forms and agreements including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • I9 form
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Non-Employee Upload Form (pages 1-3 and 28)
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
  • Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
  • EPLS and OIG exclusion reports dated within 30 days
  • Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
  • NSO report dated within 30 days (including aliases and statewide checks for MI)
  • System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
  • Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
  • Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries) within 30 days prior to start
  • OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start
