Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room

Location: Boise, Idaho
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, with recent OR experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required for RNs working in critical care areas such as CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• License and certification verifications must be current and dated within 30 days of start date.
• Fit test and 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start date (including specific substances; no THC allowed).
• Proof of immunizations and health screenings:

  • COVID-19 vaccine (including booster or approved exemption).
  • MMR (2 vaccinations or IgG titer).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start.
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption.
  • Varicella vaccination or IgG titer.
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test with chest x-ray if positive (per regional requirements).
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year.
• Background and professional verifications including:

  • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years).
  • Education verification (highest academic degree or equivalent).
  • Exclusion and sanction screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO).
  • Conflict of interest and code of conduct forms.
  • System access and confidentiality agreements.
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
