Angio/Interventionalist

Overview

• Day shift, 10 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Location: Billings, Montana

Role Summary

• Completes angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and taking images.
• Provides procedural support as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Assists with SIRT Mapping/Treatments, embolizations, neph tube placements, biliary tube placements, CT-guided procedures, and Neuro-IR stroke and diagnostic procedures.
• Uses IR equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• May suture the sheath in place or remove the sheath and apply pressure for hemostasis.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Montana
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• Vascular procedures experience
• Angiography procedures experience
• Operating imaging equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of Angio/Interventional experience.
• Vascular/Interventional Radiography Certification.
• Relevant state licensure and/or certifications.

Additional Notes

• The assignment involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating patient care, following medical necessity and coding/charging guidelines, obtaining consents, maintaining QC programs, and reporting equipment issues.
• Candidates are encouraged to use an existing radiation badge when available to maintain exposure history.
