MRI Technician Travel Job - Illinois (Marion)

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Weekends mandatory (Saturday and Sunday), with possible additional third day or blocked shifts (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Float Requirement: No
On Call/Call Back: No
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every weekend

Required Qualifications

• License/Certifications: ARRT or ARMRIT certification for MRI, AHA BLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years MRI experience preferred (use 2 years as requirement)
• Charting: EPIC experience preferred but not required

Job Details

• Patient Population: Primarily adults
• Equipment: GE 1.5T Voyager and GE 3T Hero 129 MRI machines
• Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required; must be resilient, adaptable to change, and socially engaging
• Work Environment: Experienced, friendly, and welcoming team; focus on high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction (HCAPHS is a key performance indicator)
• Special Focus: Neuro department growth with priority on quick turnaround of neurologist orders for stroke patients
