Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
13-week contract
Start date: ASAP
40 guaranteed hours per week

Schedule

4x10 day shifts when possible, with 5x8s when needed
On-call requirement includes 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week
Additional call may be mandated
30-minute response time for call-back
Weekend and holiday rotation every 3rd–4th weekend

Required Qualifications

AHA BLS
ACLS
Wisconsin RN license
2+ years of OR experience
Conscious sedation
Perivascular OR experience

Preferred

Epic familiarity

Unit Information

Vascular, open and Endovascular-OR

Float Scope

May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed

Additional Notes

36 hours of low census unbillable hours are possible
Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours
If called back in, call-back pay applies
Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation week
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times; compliance is mandatory
