Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Shift: 12-hour day shifts
Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation
On Call: Possible low census call; minimum 2-hour callback pay
Unit Info:
- 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit
- 8-bed Postpartum unit
- Approximately 112 deliveries per month (1350 annually)
Charting System: EPIC (experience preferred)
Scrub Colors: Any color allowed

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
Minimum 2 years of experience in Obstetrics with Labor and Delivery experience
Certifications: AHA BLS and Advanced NRP mandatory
Competency in Labor and Delivery required

Additional Information

Travelers must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy
Low census hours (up to 36 hours) may be unbillable; call-back pay applies if called in during these hours
Orientation week hours may vary; guaranteed hours apply except when the unit is closed for holidays
