Assignment Overview

• 13-week assignment
• Shift: 12N
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• 50 mile radius: no local travelers

Unit / Setting

• High-acuity, heavily cardiac-focused PCU units

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent cardiac unit experience
• EPIC experience
• Must be able to independently interpret cardiac rhythms and pass a Dysrhythmia Exam on the first attempt, with no remediation opportunities
• Must have experience with cardiac drips, telemetry interpretation, and successfully passing a telemetry exam
• Must have a rating of "4" on all cardiac skills on the skills checklist
• Must have chest tube experience
• Required cardiac drips: Insulin, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, Nitroglycerin (Nitro)

Preferred Qualifications

• Heart transplant experience
• LVAD experience

Floating

• May float to similar cardiac/PCU units as needed
• Will not float to the Cardiac Monitor Tech role
