Required Qualifications

• Specialty: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty within the last 3 years
• Additional Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years vent management and telemetry experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience on Med-Surg, Progressive Care, and/or Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Education: BSN required
• Licensure: New York State RN License in hand
• Certifications: AHA BLS
• Skills:

  • Level 1 Trauma Experience
  • EMR experience
  • Skills checklist matching required skill set
• Vaccinations: COVID and Flu vaccinated prior to start date (no declinations)
• Travel Experience: Travel experience OR local NYC experience required
• Other: Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset

Additional Information

• Flu/COVID vaccination required with no declinations
• Scrubs: Navy bottom + white top or all white; shoe color depends on scrub color
• Interviews required: Voice Advantage Interview + Nurse Manager Screening/Interview
• Weekly start dates; 4-6 weeks average to complete compliance

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with solid PCU experience, vent and telemetry skills, and flexibility to float within acuity areas. Prior travel experience is required unless the candidate has local NYC experience.
