Nuclear Med Technologist - Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call: Yes; weekends and one weekday per week (4:30 PM – 10:00 PM), plus one weekend per month (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
- Perform general Nuclear Medicine (NM) procedures as well as PET/CT imaging.
- Float between NM and PET as needed for both direct patient care and indirect patient care tasks such as patient reminder calls.
- Average daily volume: 10+ Nuclear Medicine procedures and 12-14 PET/CT scans.
- Common procedures include:
- Whole Body Bone Scans
- Lung Scans
- Gastric Emptying
- Renal Scans
- HIDA Scans
- Thyroid Uptake and Scans
- Datscan Brain Scans
- Lymphoscintigraphy
- Parathyroid Scans
- FDG PET and Specialty PET scans
- Equipment used: GE and Siemens imaging systems.
- On-call duties primarily for HIDA, GI Bleed, Brain Death, and Lung scans. Call-back rate is low.
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine Technologist role within the last year.
- Certification: ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certified.
- Proficiency in PET imaging.
- Must be able to work on-call shifts including weekends and evenings.

- Vendor will provide credentialing information upon request for offer.
