Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Job Description

• Perform technical CT scan procedures under supervision of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist.
• Create diagnostic images using CT technology in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
• Provide safe and positive patient experiences.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including ICU patients), trauma/emergency room cases, research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Schedule

• Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School (high school +1).

Licensure & Certification

• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York State.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT Technology specialty.
• Entry level candidates with limited or no experience may be considered but assigned MIT level based on skill set and experience.
