Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Psychiatric)

Location: Richmond, Texas
Employment Type: Per Diem
Contract Length: 7 weeks

Job Details

  • Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing
  • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements: No call
  • Unit: Trauma
  • Number of Beds: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1:12
  • Patient Population: Psychiatric
  • Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, dual diagnosis, detox
  • EHR System: Pinpoint

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychology
  • Psychology experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Empathetic personality and approach
  • Experience with psychiatric patient care

  • Dress Code: Blue scrubs only
