• Specialty: General Medicine (Medical-Surgical)

• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed (can be cancelled up to 3 times per contract)
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Unit Beds: 24
• Float Requirements: May float to other units within the acute care division
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Bar Code Medication Administration (BCMA)
• Proficiency with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs; fingernails must comply with TJC and CMS guidelines; shoes must be close-toed with backs
