Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Pulaski, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Med Surg/Tele
• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Staffing: Monitor Tech & techs available; all staff rotate as techs if needed
• Equipment: Stryker beds, phones & headsets for easy communication
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: Every other weekend and some holidays
• Floating Policy: Float as needed if census drops
• Patient Experience: Hourly rounding, daily huddle participation

Certifications & Licenses Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg specialty

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Cardiac
• Medical
• Surgical
