Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department. The RN will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide supervision and direction to assigned personnel.
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Department
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Certifications:
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Licensure: Must have a valid Alabama RN license
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
