Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer (Travel)
Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
- Unit: Ultrasound (Cost Center 729)
- Patient Ratios: Variable
- Unit Staffing: Weekend shifts include three 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with rotating on-call shifts and rotating holidays during the week
- Equipment: GE LOGIC 9
- Documentation Systems: MEDITECH, CENTRICITY PACS
- Dress Code: Black scrubs required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Certifications:
- ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) required
- ARRT (S) and BLS also required
- Skills:
- Proficient in all general and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Ability to function independently on weekend shifts
- Proficient with ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g., thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, and other US-guided interventions)
- Experience: Must be able to perform emergent ultrasound-guided procedures often ordered on weekends

- All general and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Ultrasound-guided interventions including thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage
