Licensure & Certifications
- Required Licensure: Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association only)
- NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start if not currently held)
- Preferred Certification: ACLS (American Heart Association only)
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in Cardiac Telemetry (inpatient only)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

- Days: 1:5 to 1:6
- Nights: 1:6 to 1:8 (estimates)

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
- Utilize nursing process consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Perform duties consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
- Experience and competence in drug titration required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk most of the time during shifts
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
- May work varying schedules and shifts based on patient care needs
- Exposure to blood and body fluids (high risk)
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, pinching up to 15 lbs, minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Dress Code
- Scrubs color: Black
- Unacceptable attire: Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, not wearing scrubs
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations not accepted
- Flexible guaranteed hours and blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements
- Time off requests (RTO) must be made on the back end of the assignment; no RTO in the first week
- Holiday time off: One request per assignment allowed
