Certified Tumor Registrar

Location: Remote (must have own PC & dual monitor setup)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (acceptable work window 4:30 AM - 11:00 PM EST), no weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with opportunity to extend)

Job Description

• Fully remote position requiring handling of complex oncology cases, including bone marrow transplant (BMT) treatments, multiple facility abstracts, and rare/complex primary cancer sites.
• Work involves abstracting oncology data with a high level of accuracy and quality.
• Expected to maintain a minimum accuracy of 90%, with a mean accuracy of 95%.
• Completion of user-defined fields is required.
• Quality review will be conducted regularly.
• Software used includes OncoLog, Cerner, OncoEMR, All Scripts, Aria, and Mosaiq.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Tumor Registrar credential required.
• Valid RN license in Georgia.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience, with oncology experience within the last year.
• Experience with bone marrow transplant (BMT) cases.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with own equipment (PC and dual monitors).
