Overview

• Location: Fort Myers, Florida
• Shift: 12hr Days
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Role: Trauma ICU RN

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with vasopressor and cardiac medications including Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, and Nitro

Preferred

• Prior travel experience

Clinical Details

• Ratio: 2:1
• Required drips and medications: Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, Nitro
• EMR: Epic

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• January start
• 36HR only
• Floating required; travelers are first to float and may float to other sister campuses
• Radius rule: 50 miles
• All RTO must be submitted upfront; no RTO will be approved after submission
• Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start
• Culture is very important; travelers are expected to function as core staff does
