Clinical Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Battle Creek/Albion, Michigan
Job Type
- Contract
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care to participants, working independently with advanced nursing knowledge and skills.
- Manage complex clinical situations and triage emergent situations.
- Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
- Utilize care plans to provide clinic and home-based direct care.
- Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed.
- Conduct regular home visits to provide care and treatment, including wound care, lab draws, and nurse assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year
- Experience working with Geriatric patients in a Long Term Care setting
- Clinic experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Work Environment
- Visible presence while working in the center; subject to frequent interruptions.
- Frequent communication with staff, participants, caregivers, and other organizations.
- May require working beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
