8 on / 6 off schedule
Weekends required
Holidays required
No call or standby call

Contract Length

26 weeks

Department / Unit

LAB - MT/MLT - Hematology
Solely on the coag/urinalysis section
Will only be covering Blood Bank

Required Qualifications

Valid Medical Technologist license in West Virginia
Medical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Medical Technologist experience within the last year
Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP Verification or Certified Medical Technologist (MT) via AMT Verification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Epic Beaker
Experience using Werfen Tops 500 and 750 for coag testing
Experience using Iris for urinalysis

Orientation / Training

Four weeks of day-shift training before independent work
Manager reviews safety, compliance, policies, procedures, and training checklist before independent work

Dress Code

Scrubs or business casual
No open-toed shoes
