CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

A hospital in Eastern Nebraska is seeking a CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist. The position requires call coverage with rotational call approximately 1 every 4 weekends plus weekday call.

Department & Equipment

Department includes CT, X-Ray, OR, Endoscopy, Emergency Department coverage
Imaging equipment includes:
- GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners (required)
- MRI (2 rooms), CT (4 rooms), X-Ray (3 rooms plus endo, OR, and portables), Nuclear Medicine (2 rooms plus PET), Ultrasound (3 rooms), Interventional Radiology (2 rooms), Mammography (3 rooms)
EMR system: EPIC
PACS system: McKesson

Schedule & Orientation

Shifts and scheduling are varied; supervisor sets schedule
Weekend and holiday work required
Call or standby required with varied response times
Unit/department-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts

Required Qualifications

BLS Certification
Certified CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
Valid driver’s license required at submission
Must comply with radiation safety policies (radiation badge provided)
Fingernail policy: Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to comply may result in contract termination
Experience with GE CT scanners and EPIC preferred
X-Ray or CT experience preferred

Additional Notes

Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
Candidates may not currently be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with certain large healthcare systems (specific names omitted)
Successful candidates are flexible, positive, and willing to learn and work
Rapid turnaround time for onboarding required (7 days or less for this 13-week contract)
