Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Grand Rapids, Minnesota

Job Description

• Work in a small, rural, independent multi-specialty healthcare facility.
• Position available for day and/or night shifts, or strictly nights.
• Facility is newly renovated and traveler-friendly.
• Opportunity to assist in ICU as needed (4-bed ICU, step-down from metro ICU).
• Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, Level 3 Trauma designated.
• Patient population ranges from newborns to 101 years old.
• Procedures include artline cases, CVP interventions, BiPAPs, and ventilators.
• Cath Lab procedures are transferred out.
• 12-hour shifts with possible weekend scheduling: every weekend (preferred), 3 out of 4 weekends, or every other weekend.
• Start date: ASAP.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for Minnesota.
• Minimum 2 years of combined ER and ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
• Additional certifications preferred: NIHSS, TNCC, PALS.

Additional Information

• 10-bed ER and 4-bed ICU.
• Approximately 17,000 annual patients.
• Day/Night rotation schedule.
