Registered Nurse - Surgery (Operating Room)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 06:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description

• Work primarily in a 7-room inpatient/outpatient operating room unit with occasional float to a 26-room main OR and level one trauma center.
• Must be able to scrub and circulate in surgeries.
• Proficiency with DaVinci XI surgical system is required.
• Experience with posterior eye surgeries and eye trauma cases is necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid Driver’s License

Additional Notes

• Attestations are generally not accepted except for fingerprinting pending results with proper documentation.
• Skill set flexibility required to float between OR units as needed.
• This role requires strong surgical nursing skills with robotic surgery experience and eye trauma surgical knowledge.
