Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Trauma experience
Onboarding / Compliance Requirements
- Primary source verification of license/certification required
- Background check required within 6 months of start
- Ohio fingerprinting required
- Employment verification within the last 5 years required
- Education verification required
- OIG search required
- SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening required
- Drug screen required within 60 days of start
- Competency exam required with a passing score of at least 80%
- Core competencies required with a passing score of at least 80%
- Physical exam/health statement required within 1 year of start
- Module completion certificate required before clearance
Health Requirements
- MMR immunity documentation required
- Hepatitis B documentation required
- Varicella immunity documentation required
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years required
- TB testing required
- Fit test required within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 vaccination is preferred, not required
- Influenza vaccination is required during flu season unless an approved exemption is completed
