RN Surgical/Trauma ICU - PM Shift
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts/week, 36 hours total)
Unit: 34 Bed Surgical & Trauma ICU
Patient Population: Surgical, Trauma, and Transplant (Kidney, Liver, Pancreas)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2; may be 1:3 when acuity is low
Floating: Expected to float to other equivalent ICU and Stepdown units as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in ICU
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- 1 year of experience in a Level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years
- EPIC EMR/charting experience required
- Preferred: Surgical ICU or Trauma ICU experience
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (STICU), including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Driver’s License

- Some immunization exemptions accepted only for specific populations (e.g., Tdap for pediatric positions)
- Flu vaccine is optional for this position but may be required seasonally for other roles
