Job Opportunity: RN ICU

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH); July 3 and 4 are required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding Documentation & Compliance

• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years, including SSN verification and alias checks, dated within 30 days of start
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days of start
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days of start, including statewide check for Michigan if applicable
• Trinity Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services, Confidentiality and Security Agreements signed and on file
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Iowa-specific child and adult dependent abuse training and registry checks (including criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries) completed within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Must attach scanned copies of all required certifications and verifications, including front and back images of certification cards
• Specialty exam and CORE exam must be current within one year
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
