Job Opportunity: Surgical RN Circulator
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, No Call
Job Summary
The Surgical RN Circulator is responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults. The RN coordinates patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, directs OR technicians and other personnel, and ensures adherence to professional nursing standards and hospital policies. The role involves collaboration with multiple departments to maintain quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and unit organization. Participation in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services is required. The RN also serves as a resource for other staff members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of OR Circulate experience within the last year
- Ambulatory Surgery experience
