• Adult and pediatric inpatient/outpatient population
• Ratios: 1:3

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Pre/Post-Op experience
• PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment in pre/post op, same day surgery, or PACU within the previous 15 months
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Driver's License
• Outpatient Surgery experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient surgery experience
• Professional reference or reference check from within the last 24 months

Additional Details

• No locals accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• No first-time travelers
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Common surgery types include myringotomy, tonsillectomy, septoplasty, orthopedic procedures, hysterectomy, thoracotomy, gastric bypass, ureteroscopy, AAA repair, breast reconstruction, cholecystectomy, and appendectomy
• Hospital-provided scrub color
