Nuclear Medicine & CT Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
13-week contract
Adult outpatient setting
Approximately 6–8 cases per tech per day
Floating is required within skillset
Accepts first-time travelers
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New Jersey
Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2 years of experience
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT(N), CNMT, ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), or R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT)
Nuclear cardiology experience

Clinical Skills

Pulmonary lung scan perfusion and ventilation/perfusion
Myocardial exercise/rest-multiple, exercise/rest-single, and pharmacological stress
Bone scan: 3 phase, limited, whole body
Renal flow: captopril
Gastric emptying, I-123 uptake scan, uptake scan, liver imaging
SPECT for bone, thyroid, and cardiac imaging

Scheduling

No weekend requirement
No on-call requirement
RTO and schedule requests are prioritized if submitted with a screenshot
No requests will be approved after offer
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
