Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check (including nationwide, sex offender, and state-specific checks)
- Education verification or diploma/transcript as applicable
- Various certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP)
- Physical exam and fit mask test within 12 months of start
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TDAP (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccinations)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination)
- Varicella (titer or vaccinations)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption/declination
- COVID vaccination or declination documentation
- Drug screening (10 panel) within one year of start
- Completion of suicide prevention training if using a multi-state compact license in Washington (for nurses)
- EPIC system training and attestation required
Additional Notes
- Guaranteed hours may be adjusted based on census; providers may be called off or placed on-call in 4-hour increments up to one shift in a two-week cycle.
- Facility uses EPIC for charting.
- Scrubs provided for OR personnel; any scrub color acceptable.
- Parking available at daily cost.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet, teaching, short-term acute care facility with a large staffed bed capacity. The role requires flexibility with floating within the hospital and weekend availability as needed. First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply.
