Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Call: Required approximately 2 shifts per month
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not open to first-time travelers (prior travel experience required)
• Preferred Experience: GE Revolution Scanner, IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT experience highly preferred

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT CT (Computed Tomography)
• ARRT Radiography (R)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R)
• Experience with IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT technologies

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license or ID
• Background checks including national criminal, state, county, SSN trace, sex offender, and federal exclusions
• Education verification (official transcript or diploma required)
• Primary source verification of certifications and state license within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Drug screening within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated annually)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity documentation
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity documentation
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (mask required if exempt)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety acknowledgements
• Passing basic dysrhythmia exam (if applicable)
• References: 2 professional references within the last 3 years
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Verification of most recent employment

Notes

• This is a very busy hospital setting requiring strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
• Call shifts are mandatory and part of the schedule.
• Candidates must be prepared to comply with all health and safety protocols, including immunizations and drug testing.

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with prior travel contract experience looking for a challenging and fast-paced environment.
