Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday with Friday-Sunday call every 3-4 weeks
• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Types of Scans:

  • Brain (Perfusion, Functional, Spectroscopy)
  • Body (Enterography, Defecography, Musculoskeletal, Breast including Breast biopsy, Spine)
• Mask Fit Testing: Travelers must be clean-shaven to pass fit testing for mask seal. Use of CAPRs and PAPRs is not provided or allowed. Failure to shave will result in cancellation.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and documents prior to start
• Completion of respirator fit test onsite during first week of orientation
• Various state-specific background and safety registry checks as applicable for Missouri
• Photo for badge (passport style, plain background) required
• Confidentiality and security agreements must be signed prior to start

Important Notes

• PAPRs and CAPRs are not provided or allowed at this facility
• Failure to comply with fit testing requirements will result in cancellation
• Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances before starting assignment
• Returning candidates with less than 6 months gap may not need to redo all modules if transcript is on file
