Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Greensboro, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12s, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Rotating weekends
Call required on Sunday nights only
Float required between 3 campuses

Clinical Setting

Dialysis department providing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis
Patient population includes end stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, metabolic imbalances, dialysis access problems, drug overdoses requiring dialysis, and medically complex medical-surgical or critical care patients
Apheresis patients include neurologic, renal, and hematologic/oncologic conditions
Telemetry monitoring is used in the department
ICU bedside treatments may be performed for hemodynamically unstable patients
Peritoneal dialysis is performed in patient rooms

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
Dialysis experience within the last year
1 year of dialysis experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
