Mixed med-surg unit with telemetry
24 beds
Average daily census: 18
Patient ratio: 1:5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Holidays required as scheduled
Every other weekend required
Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister SRH facilities within scope

Patient Population / Clinical Focus

General med-surg telemetry patients
TIA
Respiratory conditions such as COPD
Urology
Gyn
Cellulitis / wound care
Palliative care
Infectious processes
Gastrointestinal
Early recovery after surgery
Observation greater than 24 hours
TR bands s/p cardiac cath with no intervention
