Med Surg Stepdown / PCU RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Beaufort, South Carolina
  • 13-week contract
  • Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
  • 36 hours per week
  • 22-bed adult MS Oncology unit
  • Frequently floats to Stepdown and MS/Tele units; must be comfortable floating
  • Ratios: Stepdown 1:4–5; Med Surg 1:5–6
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
  • Scrubs provided: no; royal blue/white

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg experience
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS

Preferred

  • Travel experience
