Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Irvine, California
• 26-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Start: ASAP

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• 2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty, from a leadership role
• 1 year of specialty experience in the current specialty
• Nurse Navigator experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• Government-issued photo ID
• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis B series or declination
• Flu vaccination or declination
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation
• Rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis C titer preferred; declination accepted if needed
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
• Signed unit-specific job description
• Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
• Signed traveler acknowledgement
• Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Signed infection control/bloodborne pathogens exam
• Signed pass/fail testing acknowledgement
• Unit-specific competency exam
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam
• Infection control/bloodborne pathogens competency exam
• CEUs completed within the last 24 months

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccination declination is accepted, with masking requirements if not fully vaccinated
• Onsite flu vaccines are available
• Onsite CPI Blue Card training can be completed at no cost if needed
